Filosofen David Hume - en favorittes

Den här tesen från David Hume förklarar mycket av det vi ser i dagens Sverige. Det går inte att rationellt påverka en individ som saknar känsla och intresse för ett visst tema. Man måste vilja själv... Hume ger en klassisk formulering av åtskillnaden mellan ”är” och ”bör”, fakta och värden, och hävdar i ett ofta citerat stycke att förnuftet är och bara kan vara ”passionernas slav”. Filosofer har sedan antiken hävdat att moraliskt handlande kräver att man kontrollerar sina passioner med förnuftet, som när någon får en impuls att hämnas en oförrätt men tänker efter och hejdar sig. Men Hume hävdar att förnuftet över huvud taget inte kan avgöra frågor om gott och ont eller rätt och fel, utan bara kan upplysa oss om värdeneutrala fakta, om ”är” men inte ”bör”. Privat arbetsförmedling -en jättemöjlighet för entreprenörer

 I regeringens budget för 2021 finns ca en miljard öronmärkt för privat arbetsförmedling. Arbetslösheten väntas öka och nya grupper drabbas. För att möta detta måste nya grepp tillåtas och därför öppnas möjligheten upp för ytterligare kompletterande aktörer att träda in på marknaden.   Detta är ett viktigt steg och förhoppningen är att denna gång skall bättre resultat uppnås än vid föregående lågkonjunktur 2008-2010 då många nya aktörer trädde in på marknaden men resultaten uteblev.  Sedan dess har vi haft en stark teknologiutveckling och det finns nu en infrastruktur för startups. Jobtech och gigappar har lanserats och bolag som Yepstr, Bolt, Gigger, Taskrunner mfl tillhandahåller korta jobb.  Arbetsförmedlingens infrastruktur har öppnats upp och API och opendata finns tillgänglig. Detta sammantaget gör det möjligt att skapa nya typer av aktörer som snabbare tar den jobbsökande till matchning och till en lägre kostnad.  Draft

Creating millions of new jobs with a realtime “stock exchange” for people and jobs

Just a few days ago SelfieJobs launched  Europe's first live exchange of labour and jobs. Just like real stock exchange bids are placed and basic data is transparent and available for everyone.  With this new regime both applications, basic data about the job seeker and the salary bid is “live” to create more speed and visibility in the matching process. Ultimately we believe this will create a massive amount of new jobs and internships. Ultralite Travel- The kit!

After making my first trip around the globe as 20 YO i have refined  the art of ultralight travel & backpacking recent years after a long break with luxury travel, and resorts. Im glad to be back in the ultralight segment since it so much more rewarding (and challenging) . Bringing just a small messenger bag containing the most necessary stuff I try to flow around in Europe or Southeast Asia. Prior to departure I set up a rough plan with some highlight , transport routes, contacts, and other necessary information . I pick the first destination depending on flight routing and pricing and a principle I don't book the legs in advance. A typical trip can be 3 weeks to 4 months . One leg (i.e a city, or attractions) i usually a few days but can be prolonged up to a week. Since i travel ultralight i don't need to use taxis or upmarket hotels but i can take a moto on hire, or just walk. A small luggage enables me to use a motorcykle to move around or go offroad. Prince Daniel Fellowship@KTH Stockholm-Advice for upcoming entrepreneurs

I had the opportunity to sit among students and SÄPO-guards@kth the other day. Since no journalists were allowed I thought I make some notes. It was a creme del a creme entrepreneurs showcase with some royal flavour as well. The Prince gave some great learning's from his career as an entrepreneur in the health business. Don't hesitate and give your idea a chance was among the advice given. Not easy for him to match the performance of entrepreneurs like Niklas Zennstrom though, but still you could feel he has matured into his role and does a good job. Zennströms advice was that entrepreneurs should give gas once their business model finds acceptance. This could mean taking the step over to the US once volume and acceptance are waterproofing on the home markets in Europe. Don't wait and fund it aggressively. The value of startups and QE

It's easy to get impressed by the superb solutions offered by innovative start-ups like Spotify, Magine, Klarna as well as less known alternatives.  Valuation and company being two different things though.  I have recently thought about what drives the constantly increased valuations. Could it be so that the driver of the last 30-40% of value aggregation is  the quantitative easing made by the Fed? The QE programs have now crippled down from the bond market (10-11) to large caps (12), SMEs (Q1 13) and finally reached all types of start-ups including a drastic increase in value for the most merited ones. Once the ratio of bond-buying eases the effects will come in the reverse order meaning startup valuations first.

Security is becoming bread and butter for Swedish households

 After the financial crisis, the diversion of societies across the world has lead to increased crime rates or perception of such. However, solutions are focused on property security like alarms, key and locks. A Swedish family has a security budget of around 1500 sek monthly. Apart from a house alarm (400sek) insurance for home and car are the main post (900sek). Asked what is important however safeguarding the kids&partner, as well as security from threats like burglary, offenders, robbery and assault, come up highest. The budgets and available solutions in this segment will increase in the coming years.

Regimskifte på gång och konsekvenser?

Funderade på vilka branscher som kommer att beröras av ett ev regimskifte nästa år . De arbetsmarknadspolitiska programmen som den borgerliga regeringen har kört kommer säkerligen att stuvas om. Ett antal program ligger i farozonen och några nya tillkommer. Tex är det troligt att en rödgrön regering kommer att reformera hur Arbetsförmedlingen arbetar. På uppsidan finns en diskussion om privata aktörer kunna erbjuda effektivare metoder för detta såsom har skett tex i Australien. Detta förslag har dock kommit från borgerligt håll. På nedsidan finns de rödgrönas motstånd mot privata program för utbildning, arbetsmarknadscoach mfl. Berörda företag är tex Poolia,se Proffice, Miroi.se samt ett antal mindre aktörer. Skulle det vara möjligt för de rödgröna att acceptera att dessa tjänster utförs inom ramen för frivilligorgansiationer såsom fackförbund, föreningar mfl. Just came across this article about the future of cash in Sweden. Clearly we need to preserve the cash in society to safeguard trade, in a scenario of blackout. If you just quickly think about how dependent any e payment solution is of such things as authentication, electricity, data-communication etc it becomes clear that cash has a role to play. Interesting players to monitor includes Klarna, iZettle as well as a few smaller players listed on the Stockholm Exchange.
