A few words on Avista Bemanning and Coachstockholm



A few months ago when the economy was deep spiraling I was looking for defensive cases.  If unemployment would increase I belive that the government will privatize the employment agency Arbetförmedlingen opening up a 2bn market. Based on this assumption I started Avista Bemanning and Coachstockholm.
Today 4 months into the operation and 8 months in total i am happy to announce some infos.
-The has become the leading challenger in the employment agency market in Stockholm area. Our estimate of market share is 2% in a 300 company market where the fail rate is 20%
-Share of coached individuals in job est 16%.
-Around 300 meetings and briefing held in 3-4months. Meeting to deal ratio 25%. Customer Satisfaction 75% very happy or happy no declared unhappy.
-New methods for finding job developed combing action marketing techniques from business with online methods and traditional coaching methods (sports coaching, mutter)
-Turnover runrate 3 msek a year (state nov 09) with traction to 10msek
-Results achieved despite extensive hinders to success from media, delays and others.
-Expansion to the professional market as well as coach for business/entrepreneurs.

Many years ago I was among the first to capitalize on the Virtual Mobile Operators (MVNOs). It was a great business in the early 2000. Later the margins went to low and instead I introduced outsourcing for mobile operators&brands that searched for lower costs (today big biz for Ericsson). Recently I had a phone conversations with a small cap/startup investor here in Stockholm . Some topics were up for brief but one tapped into my head. A European IP telephony company looking for new partnerships and clients for Winmo,S60 Ip telephony and more service. Key is not to go head2head with skype and so on. A few ours later i was on fring, skype, with a entrepreneur in Stockholm that has some distribution for this type of concepts. Bang 5 minutes in we planned for a lunch all partly done on my mobile. Later just before the lunch I had the final details from the VC on homepage and strategic outlook on the ip telephony, also on fring. This feeling of efficient, cost effective real time management is in your pocket. Small organizations has an advantage an can start using realtime management now.
